Scott Moses has not died or departed - not yet anyway. He decided to stop teaching in 2018.
I (Donald Dow) was born in 1965. I committed to a serious Zen practice in 2008, and completed the koan curriculum in 2024. I was appointed Sensei/Teacher that year. (PAZG doesn't have a formal Shiho or Denbo, and in fact renounces the notion of a dharma transmission as being subject to abuse and l eading one to foster notions of permanence.)
Bill and David Boyle are indeed brothers.

The ceremony was March 15, 2025 in Boca Raton, Florida.
My teacher witnessed the ceremony. Her name is Jane Jishin Faysash, transmitted by Michael Doshin Cantor (founder of Southern Palm Zen Group). His transmitting teacher was Peter Muryo Mattiessen; transmitted by Bernie Tetsugen Glassman, transmitted by Taizan Maezumi Roshi.
